Class Rules
Be Prepared: This means being on time, present for class, prepared with paper and pencil every day, and having all homework or assigned work finished and ready for turn in. Most importantly I want my students to be prepared to LEARN AND PARTICIPATE!!!
Be Respectful: This means to always show respect to everyone, everywhere. Students are expected to be respectful to their classmates, teacher, and all Northport K-8 staff. As a student, you must respect all of the rules set out by the school such as dress code, hallway procedures, and classroom procedures. I personally expect my students to respect their classmates and to always be supportive of them. In science, we all make mistakes. I welcome students to feel comfortable making mistakes and ask a lot of questions. In order for students to feel comfortable doing so, all students must respect that no question is a "silly" question.
I do not tolerate anything less than a respectful attitude in my classroom.
Be awesome: This rule is simple. Always strive to do your best. Everyone is allowed to have a "bad" day, but I expect my students to always try to succeed
